WHY WE STAY HERE?

Accommodation we have selected for you is a family owned boutique hotel. A farm within an area of about 30 acres with safe and sound infrastructure, in a unique location. This family is welcoming you with excellent proposals for overnight stays, and a variety of culinary surprises, experiences, services and local products. Apart from a comfortable stay, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with the local culture. The accommodation composes a landscape of rare beauty, with traditional, picturesque, romantic, idyllic images, combining the pleasures of cosmopolitan Nafplio, with the incomparable beauty and tranquility of the countryside, the traditional with the modern, luxury with simplicity.

Get ready for explosion of tastes, richness and smell of every single bite will stay vivid memory for a long time after experiencing home made food and tasting excellent wine.

It’s a perfect weekend to learn some of the secrets behind quality wine production.  Everyone is in a mood to share their tips and experiences.

We’ll pick you up from the Athens Airport and after short drive we’ll be reaching home of beautiful vineyards, organic farm and amazingly warm welcome of our incredibly charming hosts. We’ll put you in the right set up so your workplace worries can go away – you’ll soon forget that you ever have to go back!

Days are still long and warm, so reaching Nafplio in the sunset will be perfect closing of your day. We are sure you’ll fall in love with this coastal city and already start with night exploration of it’s cute narrow streets.

We’ll start our day with Greek traditional breakfast, dishes based on olive, cheese and oil, with fresh juice from the farm. Our star of the day will be joining! The biggest expert in making pies: Greek grandma! You’ll simply love one slow morning in incredible country set up.

Afternoon is all yours! You can explore the surrounding area and cycling or wander around beautiful garden and breathe in the authenticity of rural life or you can stroll around nearby fairytale city of Nafplio.

Castles and neoclassical buildings, old neighborhoods, pedestrian streets and large squares. A city brimming with life, that keeps the legends of the past and carries you away in its mystical atmosphere. 

Lined with cobbled streets, churches, restaurants and bars, once capital of Greece, this gorgeous coastal city is a gem to uncover.

We’ll close the day with the dinner, delving into the rich foodie traditions of the area.

Today we start a day in a sweet way.

You’ll experience fully what does it take to make one jar of delicious Greek honey. You’ll learn why and where these colourful boxes are travelling in different months of the year.

As we know that even bigger joy is in tasting hand made honey, with your authentic host Vangelis you’ll learn more about honey and taste the differences. Pssst, there is one more secret that will be revealed to you, secret local recipe with honey.

As we are still celebrating month of grape harvest, on the way back, we’ll be tasting some of incredible local wines and specialties of the Nemea region.

Prepare to hit the sun-dappled waters, as we venture into beautiful beaches nestled along the coast. Be sure to lather on the sun cream, as we’ll be beneath the warm Mediterranean rays.

Admire breathtaking views from the sea and dive into the turquoise waters to snorkel or simply take your extra doze of relaxation – the blissful feeling of immersing yourself in the sea is the ultimate medicine.

On our way to Athens we’ll be having delicious lunch, sea food and fish. We are about to close your long weekend escapade, hopefully with extra doze of simple joys that will keep you smiling for many weeks after!

IMPORTANT NOTES

We’ll pick you up and drop you off in Athens Airport. Please try to arrive before 12pm on day 1, when is the meeting of the group and start of the tour. Feel free to depart anytime after 5pm at your own leisure on day 4.

Please be aware that the itinerary, activities and hotels are subject to change. These changes can happen with little notice due to availability, poor weather, seasonal changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
